Permanent deletion of an application

There are several reasons you may need to permanently delete an application:

• The application was created by mistake or as a test
• Your organisation does not retain archived data
• You want to reduce retention of personal data under data protection obligations

Delete an application permanently

Only the account owner can permanently delete an application. To delete an application:

1. In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
2. Open the application you want to delete
3. Select Delete this application permanently
4. Choose one option:
   • Wipe application and keep reviewing data
   • Delete application and delete reviewing data
5. Enter the application name to confirm
6. Click Delete

The deletion happens immediately.

Good to know

• Permanent deletion cannot be undone—permanently deleted applications cannot be recovered.
• Only the account owner can delete applications permanently.
• Permanently deleting a user profile can also remove associated applications.
• Consider exporting data before deletion.
• Data retention requirements vary by region. Seek legal advice for GDPR or other regulatory obligations.
