Should my program use resubmission?
This resubmission feature is best used if your application process consists of two stages of submission, or if you wish to allow some applicants to add extra information to their applications. For example, shortlisted applicants might be invited to answer additional questions after application submission. To allow only selected applications to be editable, you can invite resubmission.
You can trigger resubmission from two areas:
Trigger resubmission from Applications
- In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
- Click the three dots icon to the left of the application you want to change
- Select Require resubmission from the menu
Trigger resubmission from a manager's view of an application
- From the Manage workspace, navigate to Applications
- Click on the application you want to change
- Click the three dots icon next to Status
- Select Require resubmission from the menu
Trigger resubmission in bulk
Resubmission can be triggered for multiple applications at once.
- From the Manage workspace, go to Applications
- Click the checkboxes next to the applications that need to be resubmitted
- Open the Action drop-down
- Choose Require resubmission
Controlling resubmission dates
To define when the resubmission must be completed, you'll need to set a deadline within your program's application round. If no Review / resubmission ends date or time has been set, applicants can resubmit applications indefinitely.
Resubmission notifications
Notifications can be sent with a new 'Application resubmitted' trigger (resubmitting does not trigger 'Application submitted' notifications).
To create the new notification from the Manage workspace go to Settings > Communications > Notifications, click New notification, then select Application resubmitted from the Trigger drop-down.
