Change the category for an application

 

Grant managers can change the category of an application after submission. This is useful if an applicant submits to the wrong category.

For managers

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
  2. Click the ellipsis (three dots) next to the application
  3. Select Edit
  4. Change the category from the drop-down
  5. Click Save + close

For applicants

Applicants can change their own category provided the application is still editable.

  1. In the Apply workspace and go to Applications
  2. Click the application name
  3. Select a new category from the drop-down
  4. Click Save + close

Good to know

  • If application fields differ between categories, some data may not carry over. Only fields common to both categories will retain their data.
  • If data appears missing, switch back to the original category to recover it.
  • If applications are locked after submission or the round is closed, applicants cannot change categories. In that case, a grant manager must make the change from the Manage workspace.
  • If an application was copied, you can remove “(copy)” from the application name before submitting.
