Revert an application to 'in progress'

Reverting an application to ‘in progress’ allows managers to unlock a submitted application so updates can be made or resubmitted.

When to use this feature:

  • A grant manager submitted an application by mistake and needs the applicant to submit it instead
  • An applicant needs to edit an application but Form locked after submission is enabled

Revert from the Applications list view

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
  2. Click the three dots icon next to the application
  3. Select Revert to in progress

Revert from the application view

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
  2. Click the application
  3. Click the three dots icon next to Status
  4. Select Revert to in progress

Good to know

  • If Form locked when submitted is enabled (in the 'Advanced' tab of a form's settings), reverting allows edits as an exception.
  • If the application has been assigned for review, it will be removed from the Review workspace when reverted to ‘in progress’.
