The reviewing features in Good Grants are flexible and powerful. They can be configured to suit a wide range of programs. The steps below outline a recommended approach to setting up reviewing successfully.
Step 1: decide which reviewing mode to use
Choose the reviewing mode or modes that best fit your program. Good Grants offers:
Step 2: prepare required components
Depending on your configuration, you will need most or all of the following:
- Score set(s)
- Scoring criteria (Scoring reviewing mode only)
- Reviewing round
- Reviewers
- Reviewing panel
Alternatively, use the Reviewing fast start for the quickest way to configure reviewing from start to finish.
Step 3: add yourself as a reviewer for testing
Add yourself to the reviewing panel so you can test the configuration before opening reviewing. Learn more in How do I test my reviewing setup?
To ensure reviewing appears correctly for individual reviewers, follow the steps outlined in Preview as a user.
Step 4: communicate with reviewers
When you are ready to open reviewing we recommend contacting reviewers via broadcast. This can be done via Reviewing > Progress or Reviewing > Settings > Assignments. Learn more in Ultimate guide to broadcasts.
