The Reviewing fast start is a setup tool that helps you configure reviewing in a few guided steps.
It walks you through:
- Selecting a reviewing mode
- Creating scoring criteria (for Scoring mode)
- Choosing applications to evaluate
- Selecting or inviting reviewers
- Assigning a reviewing round
To get started:
- In the Manage workspace, go to Reviewing > Manage
- Click Reviewing fast start and choose a form
Step 1: choose a reviewing mode
Select one of the following:
- Qualifying
- Top pick
- Scoring
- Voting
- Gallery
Enter a name for your reviewing stage.
Step 2: set scoring criteria (Scoring mode only)
- Add scoring labels
- Set minimum and maximum scores
- Use Advanced to configure increments or weights
Step 3: select applications
Choose which applications to include by selecting:
- Categories
- Chapters
- Tags
Step 4: select reviewers
Choose how to assign reviewers:
- Any users with a role: assign all users with selected roles
- Invited reviewers: select specific users
- Add reviewers: invite new users by email
- Optionally, select Add myself to the panel to test your setup
Step 5: select a reviewing round
- Choose an existing reviewing round
- Or click New reviewing round to create one
Finish setup
- Click Finish to save
- Click Manage reviewing to open the reviewing dashboard
Good to know
- You can move between steps before clicking Finish.
- Default names can be edited later.
- You can update individual settings after configuration via Reviewing > Settings.
- Roles selected in reviewing will automatically receive required permissions. This does not apply to the guest role.
