Field configuration
Fields allow you to collect information about an application, a user, an attachment, or a contributor. There are four different field resources to choose from:
- Application fields — display on the application form
- User fields — display during registration and on a user’s profile
- Attachment fields — field to go with every attachment on an attachments tab
- Contributor fields — field to go with every contributor on contributor tab
Important: for some field types, once data has been entered to a particular field via the entry form or during registration, the field resource and field type can no longer be changed. These field types are checkbox, checkbox list, content, date, date-time, file upload, and table. You’ll need to create the field again and delete the original one.
