Good Grants application forms are dynamically generated based on the chapter and category selected by an applicant. Tabs and fields may vary depending on these selections. To preview the form structure, grant managers and other users with application permissions can download a blank applicaiton form PDF.
Download a blank application PDF
In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
Click Start application and choose your form
Select the desired chapter and category
Click Download blank application PDF for reference
Save the PDF to your device
Repeat these steps for any additional chapters or categories you want to preview.
Disable blank application PDF downloads
If you prefer not to make this option available to users:
In the Manage workspace, go to Forms
Click the ellipsis (three dots) next to a form and choose Form settings
Open the 'Advanced' tab
Deselect the Blank sample form PDF available for download checkbox
Click Save
Good to know
Fields that are conditional or hidden from applicants will not appear in the blank PDF.
To capture conditional fields, create a test application in the Apply workspace, populate it with placeholder data, and download the applicant PDF instead.
Drop-down fields display up to 10 options in the blank PDF; additional options are represented by an ellipsis.
