Using auto-score fields

Auto-score allows you to assign a score based on an applicant's response. This is useful for screening, ranking, or automating evaluation.

Auto-score can be used on its own or with an eligibility tab.

How auto-score works

  • Each answer option is assigned a numeric score
  • The total score is calculated based on responses
  • Scores can be used to filter, sort, or qualify applications

Supported field types

Auto-score can be enabled on:

  • Checkbox
  • Checkbox list
  • Drop-down list
  • Radio buttons

Enable auto-score

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
  2. Click Edit form and choose a form
  3. Add or edit a field
  4. Toggle on Auto-score
  5. Assign a score to each option
  6. Click Save

View auto-scores

  • In Applications, enable the Auto-score column using the cog icon at the top of the table
  • In an application, open the 'Review' tab to view detailed scoring

Use case: score without reviewers

You can evaluate applications without a reviewing panel:

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Applications
  2. Click Advanced
  3. Set the Status filter to Submitted
  4. Click the cog icon and enable the Auto-score column
  5. Sort entries by score
  6. Select top applications
  7. Click Action
  8. Select Tag

You can then:

Good to know
