Text editing options

Various text editing options are available throughout the Good Grants platform to grant managers. These tools make it easy to format content clearly and consistently across application forms, reviewing views, content blocks, and other text-enabled areas.

The exact tools available may vary depending on where the editor is used. Some text editing options are also available to applicants and reviewers, allowing them to add emphasis or better structure their written content. 

Text type

You can structure content using the following text styles:

  • Paragraph
  • Heading 1
  • Heading 2
  • Heading 3
  • Heading 4
  • Heading 5
  • Heading 6

Text formatting

Basic formatting options include:

  • Bold
  • Italics
  • Underline

Links and emphasis

  • Link
  • Blockquote
  • Code

Lists and layout

  • Bulleted list
  • Numbered list
  • Increase indent
  • Decrease indent

Media and rich content

  • Insert media (useful for YouTube and Vimeo links)
  • Insert image via URL

Tables

Two table types are available:

  • Layout table
    • Used to arrange text and assets visually
    • Ideal for formatting and presentation
  • Content table
    • Used to collect structured data
    • Includes an optional header row
