Leaving user comments

What is this feature? 

In Good Grants, grant managers have the ability to leave comments on a user's profile. These internal notes are available only to those with manager level permissions within the account and are never shown to the applicant or reviewer. 

Who should use this feature? 

As user comments are not associated with an individual application or grant report, they can be used for long-term record keeping. These comments are also exportable for managers and can be included in both 'Applications' and 'Users' custom exports. Create a user comment

Writing a user comment is easy and only takes a few clicks! Here's how: 

  1. In the Manage workspace, navigate to Users
  2. Click on the name of your desired user
  3. Within the user's profile, open the 'Comments' tab

  4. Compose your comment using Markdown formatting or the available text editing tools

  5. Click Save when finished
