Using the Reviewing fast start

 

The Reviewing fast start is a setup tool that helps you configure reviewing in a few guided steps.

It walks you through:

To get started:

  1. In the Manage workspace, go to Reviewing > Manage
  2. Click Reviewing fast start and choose a form

Step 1: choose a reviewing mode

Select one of the following:

  • Qualifying
  • Top pick
  • Scoring 
  • Voting
  • Gallery

Enter a name for your reviewing stage.

Step 2: set scoring criteria (Scoring mode only)

  • Add scoring labels
  • Set minimum and maximum scores
  • Use Advanced to configure increments or weights

Step 3: select applications

Choose which applications to include by selecting:

  • Categories
  • Chapters
  • Tags

Step 4: select reviewers

Choose how to assign reviewers:

  • Any users with a role: assign all users with selected roles
  • Invited reviewers: select specific users
  • Add reviewers: invite new users by email
  • Optionally, select Add myself to the panel to test your setup

Step 5: select a reviewing round

  • Choose an existing reviewing round
  • Or click New reviewing round to create one

Finish setup

  • Click Finish to save
  • Click Manage reviewing to open the reviewing dashboard

Good to know

  • You can move between steps before clicking Finish.
  • Default names can be edited later.
  • You can update individual settings after configuration via Reviewing > Settings.
  • Roles selected in reviewing will automatically receive required permissions. This does not apply to the guest role.
