You can share scores and comments—including internal comments—from reviewers in one review stage with reviewers in another stage. This requires two configuration steps: updating the score set and adjusting the reviewer role.
Edit the score set
- In the Manage workspace and navigate to Reviewing > Settings > Score sets
- Select the score set you want to update
- Open the 'Display 'tab
- Under 'Share scores', select the score set(s) you want to share with
- Click Save
If you also want to share comments, go to the 'Commenting' section and select Users can see each others’ comments on this score set checkbox.
Edit the reviewer role
If you want only some reviewers—such as lead reviewers—to see others’ scores and comments, assign them a separate role. See: Assign or remove user roles.
To allow a reviewer role to see scores and comments:
- Go to the Manage workspace and open Settings > Users > Roles
- Click the reviewer role used for this score set
- Click Advanced
- Set Scores (others) View to Allow
- Click Save
Reviewers with this permission will see a score matrix in the right-hand column of each application, below attachments. If enabled, the matrix also displays other reviewers’ comments.
For more detail on access levels, see: Ultimate guide to user roles.
Show the score matrix to some reviewers only
To display the score matrix for selected reviewers but not others, configure their roles accordingly:
- Reviewers must have Scores (others) View set to Allow to see the matrix.
- You can create a special reviewer role with this permission and leave the standard reviewer role without it.
Good to know
- Scores and comments can only be shown when a reviewing round is active.
- To help avoid bias, we recommend locking reviewers’ scores after five minutes—or using a separate viewing-only reviewing round.
- Files uploaded within reviewer comments are shared when comments are shared.
- Reviewers who are already logged in may need to refresh their browser to see updated permissions.
