Do I need broadcasts and notifications? Are they important?

 

When you register for a Good Grants program, you choose how you want to receive messages. Some of these messages contain important information about your application or the program itself.

You can update your preferences at any time.

Update your preferences

To change your subscription settings:

  1. Click your name in the top right corner
  2. Select Profile
  3. Open the 'Preferences' tab
  4. Select or deselect your subscription options
  5. Click Save

What are notifications?

Notifications are messages sent based on activity on your account. They may be sent by email or SMS. Common notification examples include:

  • Confirmation that an application was submitted
  • Updates to the status of an application or grant report

What are broadcasts?

Broadcasts are bulk emails sent by the program organiser. They provide updates and announcements about the program. Common broadcast examples include:

  • Deadline reminders
  • Reviewing or evaluation updates
  • Shortlisting or grant outcomes
  • Event invitations
  • Announcements about opening dates or requirements
  • General program related communications

Other system messages

Some system messages are required for the platform to function. These messages cannot be unsubscribed from. Examples include:

  • Password reset emails
  • Account confirmation messages

Good to know

  • Unsubscribing from notifications and notifications may cause you to miss important updates and key program information.
  • Some messages are mandatory and cannot be disabled.
  • You can update preferences at any time from your profile.
